The basic coloration of the Peruvian redtails is mostly yellowish, some specimens like the one in the photo above have a touch of orange. The tails show a shining red color.
These animals usually have a spindle - shaped saddle pattern, but "widows peaks" also occur.
Boa c. constrictor from Peru are not frequent kept in captivity here in Europe. There have only been one or two successful breedings here so far.
